How Do I Wash My Binder?Updated 6 days ago

Washing your binder can be quick and easy! To help your binder last as long as possible, we suggest hand washing and air drying.

If you wear your binder every day, we recommend washing it every few days. A binder especially needs to be cleaned if it starts to smell. Binders are undergarments - they can get dirty quickly! We understand that not everyone can wash their binder as frequently. If that isn't possible for you, then we recommend washing it at least once per week.

Owning multiple binders and rotating between them throughout the week will cut down on the need to wash, and expand the life of the garments.

WASH

• BY HAND: You can use cold or warm water to wash your binder. Lather the binder with a bit of dish soap or laundry detergent. Be sure to wash all of the soap out of your binder before drying it out! You can give the binder a little squeeze to get some of the excess water out before hanging or laying it out to dry.

• BY MACHINE: We recommend using the "delicate" setting.

DRY

• AIR DRY: If you hang up your binder up or lay it out overnight, it should be ready to use by morning!

• MACHINE DRY: You may decide to machine dry your binder on occasion for 7-15 minutes to fluff/tighten it. Be careful! Heat will degrade the fibers over time.

TIP: Using a delicates bag in the washer/dryer can ensure your binder doesn't get damaged or caught on other clothing items!
