How do I remove 2b Tape?Updated 10 months ago
- OIL
Saturate the tape in your preferred removal substance. We recommend using a natural or body safe oil such as; baby oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, canola oil, or vegetable oil. We also recommend using Goo Gone for Skin if you prefer a non-natural substance during removal. Always check the ingredients of your preferred removal method before use to identify potential allergens or irritants. - PEEL
Once the oil has saturated the tape for approximately three (3) minutes, begin to peel it back and remove it from your body. We recommend starting at the corners and edges and peeling in the direction it was applied. Go slowly! If you feel resistance you may need to apply more of your chosen removal substance underneath the tape to further loosen the adhesion. - CLEAN
Once the tape has been fully removed, dispose of it and gently wash the taped area with a gentle soap and warm water. You can also complete the removal process while taking a bath or shower as the warm water and steam will aid in a gentler removal process. - AFTERCARE
After the area has been cleaned and any lingering adhesive has been removed, apply a gentle lotion or moisturizer. We highly recommend coconut oil or shea butter, but you can also use unscented petroleum based ointments such as Vaseline or Aquaphor. Do not apply these products over broken skin. - REST
Give your skin a chance to rest after taping, especially if you’ve been wearing it for a few days. If possible give yourself at least 3 to 7 days to rest and heal any light abrasion from the tape removal process before taping again.
